Honda Adventure Roads

Previous events

Since our first event in 2017, Honda Adventure Roads has celebrated the spirit of exploration, enabling and supporting riders with a unique experience across some of the world’s most breathtaking and challenging landscapes.

Now with over 150+ riders and five events, participants have taken on technical riding challenges, diverse cultures, climates, and terrains — all aboard the Africa Twin. Over the years, Adventure Roads has grown into more than an annual celebration of exploration; it has become a global community of like-minded riders driven by discovery.

Nordkapp 2017

In March 2017, we embarked on the first ever Honda Adventure Roads Tour.  40 riders clocking up 3,750km over 8 days to Nordkapp. Adventuring through the breath-taking fjords and snow-capped mountains of Norway to reach the finish line at the North cape.

South Africa 2019

In 2019 we took on mountain passes, rode through the stunning landscapes of the Karoo desert region, the Swartberg Pass, ending at the Cape of Good Hope. Riders covered 3,736 kilometres in 12 stages across breath-taking scenery, the ultimate test for the Africa Twin and riders.

Iceland 2022

The third chapter in our journey of true adventure was Iceland. Riders traversed the island starting from Reykjavík and reaching the Northern town of Húsavík. Riders faced a huge variety of terrain you can’t find anywhere else in the world riding through black volcanic ash fields with extreme wind conditions and deep river crossings.

Morocco 2024

Inspired by the Dakar. 30 riders on the Africa Twin reached the edge of the Sahara Desert in Morocco. Battling the heat, elevation reached over 3000m above sea level as riders traversed the Atlas Mountains all to reach the Northern finish line in Nador.

Rome To Istanbul 2025

30 Africa Twin riders spent nine days crossing seven countries. The 2025 journey began in Rome and finished in Istanbul, Asia. The Africa Twin and its riders were challenged once again by a mix of spectacular roads and demanding off‑road sections. The 2025 edition delivered an endurance test suited to even the most experienced long‑distance motorcyclists.
