Breaking the Limits

Powered by DreamTech

Years of engineering, bold ideas, hard knocks and relentless perseverance – all for your ride. The V3R 900 E-Compressor is built for the bold. It pairs a compact, water-cooled 75° V-type 3-cylinder with the world’s first electronically controlled compressor for a motorcycle*, allowing precise control of engine boost, delivering high-responsive torque from low revs. Compact for agility. Dynamic for speed. No compromises – just cutting-edge engineering.

The V3R 900 E-Compressor introduces a 900cc V-type 3-cylinder engine with electric boost control independent of engine speed. Twist the throttle and power arrives right when you want it – precise, predictable and ready to surge.

Developed according to the concept “Non-Rail Roller Coaster,” the V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype combines the latest technology with Honda’s long-accumulated motorcycle development knowhow, aiming to possess dual characteristics “promised thrills” and “absolute peace of mind.”

Power of precision

  • V3R

    Compact size, big-engine punch

Development targets output equivalent to a 1200cc engine, while pursuing the latest environmental performance – combining strong acceleration with the balanced, compact feel of a 900.

  • V3R

    Engineering, uncovered

A naked style makes the engineering the hero. Asymmetrical ducts on either side of the tank add a dynamic presence, while a Pro-Arm rear suspension underlines stability and composure through every turn and straight.

  • V3R

    Intense by design

The stripped-back design of the V3R 900 E-Compressor is an ode to its engineering and performance. On the tank, the new Honda wing mark signals the next generation of flagship models to come.
