The 2025 adventure starts in Rome and ends in Istanbul, Asia. The Africa Twin and its riders will be tested once again with a unique mix of stunning roads and off-road sections, providing a challenge for even the most experienced adventure motorcyclists.

Across borders, beyond limits
Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Greece, Türkiye. The 2025 Honda Adventure Roads route will allow riders to experience different terrain, elevation and cultures across 7 countries, all powered by the Africa Twin. Riders will be self-guided for true adventure using the Tripy II system. It's an easy-to-use electronic road book equipped to all Africa Twin units for Honda Adventure Roads. For safety, riders will be tracked by satellite GPS thanks to the OWAKA tracker.

The very best, with HRC rally rider support along the journey. There to provide all 30 riders with training tips, stories and inspiration.

First-class ride
Starting in luxury, riders begin their adventure in Rome at a prestigious hotel before departing towards the east coast. From luxury hotels to glamping – a vast selection of accommodation is presented this year for participants. Their luggage? All handled by a dedicated events team from guide riders to mechanics, moving belongings separately to the accommodation each night, letting riders concentrate on the adventure. Experienced guide riders will be present along the route to ensure rider safety, help with refueling and help riders in any difficult passages. A dedicated medical team are also on standby to suppot in case of any emergencies.
Pushed to the limit
Riders will experience the latest model of the Africa Twin, fully kitted out with accessories. Forged through toughness and put to the test with each Adventure Roads; the Africa Twin is every adventure motorcyclist's reliable travel partner. A compact powerhouse fitted with a twin-cylinder engine and aggressive rally design initially influenced by the HRC.

Arrival
Riders arrive into luxury at the Castello hotel perched above Rome. They meet staff, marshals and fellow riders for a briefing, dinner and rest.
Rome
Kickstands up, the group heads east of Rome through Italian hillside villages to get familiar with their Africa Twin.
161Km – 22% off-road, 78% road.
To the east coast
Through the Sibillini Mountains, the group crosses eastern Italy to the coast, riding scenic roads and trails.
255Km – 26% off-road, 74% road.
The coastal road
After a ferry to Croatia, a stunning ride begins along the Adriatic coast with sweeping views and long road stretches.
324Km – 6% off-road, 94% road.
Albania off-road
Riders tackle the North Albanian mountains, with valleys and lake Ohrid in view.
362Km – 36% off-road, 64% road.
Two borders, one day
The route crosses from Albania into Greece via valley roads in Pelister National Park with flowing tarmac.
379Km – 14% off-road, 86% road.
The island of Thassos
Riders explore off-road trails with sea views as they ferry to Thassos, known for its rich culture and green forests.
336Km – 47% off-road, 53% road.
It’s getting technical
In northeast Greece, the group rides into remote backcountry, tackling the most technical off-road stage.
315Km – 25% off-road, 75% road.
The border to Asia
Approaching Turkey, riders pass the border via forest trails near the coast before glamping overnight.
247Km – 44% off-road, 56% road.
Istanbul
In the final leg of the adventure, riders reach Turkey’s capital, Istanbul. Crossing the Bosporus bridge, arriving at a luxury hotel.
270Km – 12% off-road, 88% road.
Departure
To mark the end, riders gather at the Kempinski hotel and enjoy a river boat dinner before parting with their Africa Twins.
