Ideas, proposals and suggestions to Honda from the public
We admire the creativity and curiosity that inspires people to come up with new ideas. At Honda, we’re fortunate to have creative minds working with us every day.
If you’re thinking of sharing your idea with us, we genuinely appreciate your enthusiasm. However, because we invest heavily in research and development, we’ve found that most ideas submitted to us are already being developed, or have been considered, within Honda.
For this reason, it is our global policy not to accept ideas or suggestions from outside the company.
If you decide to submit something despite this policy, please be aware that:
- We cannot provide feedback on your idea.
- You automatically waive all legal rights to it. This means Honda will not provide any payment or compensation if any of our products or services are the same as, or similar to, your idea.
- Your idea will not be treated as confidential.
- Any documents you send will not be returned.
If you still wish to contact us, this is the address you’ll need. But please remember by doing so, you agree to the above terms — and we won’t be able to reply.

Whistleblowing
Honda takes whistleblowing very seriously, so if you have a concern relating to any of the bullet points below, please use the Honda Motor Europe (HME) Speak Up service here. Reports are completely confidential, and you are not required to reveal your identity unless you choose to do so. HME Speak Up whistleblowing service is designed to receive disclosures relating to the matters below:
- Bullying;
- Bribery/Corruption;
- Policy/procedure breach;
- Conflict of interest;
- Discrimination;
- Fraud;
- Health/Safety/Environment;
- Sexual harassment and assault;
- Misconduct;
- Theft;
- Other serious violations.
