In all honesty, and this is purely my opinion as I can't really comment on other companies, but I always get the sense that a Honda is a product created by engineers, rather than accountants. Yes, I'm totally biased but I always feel there is real integrity to our cars - whether that's the quality, safety or driving experience. Whenever you speak to any of our engineers, they are so passionate about what they do and you can tell they are genuine enthusiasts. You can feel that in our cars.

Great question. It's fundamental to who we are as a company. Mr Honda himself once said “We must aim for 120% product quality. If 99% of the products we make are perfect it would seem like a pretty good record. However, the customers who become owners of the remaining 1% will surely consider their products 100% defective. It is unacceptable that even one customer in a thousand - even one customer in ten thousand - should receive a defective product. This is why we must aim for 120%.” Couldn't have said it better myself. Honda is very proud of its heritage and its philosophy, most of which came from Mr Honda himself, and this a great example of how it impacts the business to this day.

“Honda’s never been afraid to try funky stuff. I’d love to see Honda introduce electric Kei cars in the UK, to reintroduce the eHonda with actual range (and a lower price) and bring back the Civic estate for people that have dogs and don’t want a minivan. The new Prelude is very welcome in that regard, what other fun stuff can we expect?”
Funny that you should mention electric Kei cars - have you seen our brand new Super-N unveiled a couple of weeks ago? Also, you're worried about cars becoming too bland, check out the 0 Series… definitely not bland!

I would say it’s definitely on its way, as most manufacturers are investing in this technology. Honda has been developing its own tech for a number of years.

Spoiler alert, I'm paid to say this, but in all honesty, it’s really great to drive. They'll be landing in showrooms soon, so make sure you book a test drive!

It’s fair to say some have been quicker than others, but you can't ignore the reality in the market. Don't forget we launched Honda e over 6 years ago! Honda has been clear on its transition to zero-emissions and Hybrid forms a key part of that.
