For many of us our love of cars and everything 4-wheels started long before we were old enough to drive. Hands up if can remember the joy of racing your die-cast toy cars across the floor as a little kid, launching them off makeshift ramps made from books. I certainly can!

For decades Mattel’s Hot Wheels have been a core part of childhood memories, with the range including some of the most loved Honda models, including the legendary NSX and the mighty Civic Type R. Now we’ve partnered with them to bring two iconic Honda models to life in a new way, thanks to their new Brick Shop range, where you can build your own model at home.

Bringing Honda Icons to Life with Hot Wheels Brick Shop

Launched in 2025, Mattel’s Hot Wheels Brick Shop brought to life a range of self-assembly models that let you build a replica 1:32 scale car from interlocking resin bricks. And now for 2026 they’ve introduced two absolute gems from the Honda archives – the 2007 S2000 rear-wheel drive roadster and the 90s classic, the legendary 4^th generation Honda Civic EF.

Each set comes with around 250 detailed bricks that build to make the finished car, and no details have been overlooked as they come complete with opening doors and custom decals so you can personalise your model, as well as a change of wheel covers. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, they include a matching metal Hot Wheels car in the kit too so you can compare the two and show off your mini masterpiece. The kits are designed for ages 10+ meaning it’s a fun activity you can do as a family, or on your own.
