With the advancement of technology and the popularity of online ordering, we’ve now developed our sales processes to fit the changing needs of our customers and how they want to purchase a new car.

Customers can now buy their new Honda online via our secure website, picking every detail to tailor their car to meet their needs, from the model, grade and engine to more personal preferences like colour, interior trims etc. Whilst this process has been designed to be as easy and painless as possible, there may be points at which you’d like some additional support and advice, which is where our Honda Sales Centre can help, with support at the end of the phone or via email.

The small, friendly team at the Honda Sales Centre are here to help support you through your car buying journey, allowing you to take your time and ask any questions you have, however small or trivial they may seem. There’s zero obligation to buy, so even if you think you’re ready and just need some queries answering, they won’t pressure you to place an order. The help doesn’t stop when you’ve ordered your vehicle, the team can also help with things like electronically signing the paperwork (known as ‘e-signing’), and giving you updates on when your new Honda will be ready.

So even if you want to buy your car online, or over the phone, you can still visit your local Honda retailer at any stage to look at all the options or discuss anything.

Helping you make the right decisions

The Honda website has been designed to make it as easy as possible for you to choose the right model and grade, letting you pick the engine and accessories that you want using our simple-to-use model configurators. If you’re unsure of which model will suit you best, our handy ‘find your perfect Honda’ feature is a good place to start, but if you prefer to discuss your needs with someone with lots of Honda knowledge, all from the comfort of your own home, our Honda Sales Centre team can talk you through all your options. They understand that buying a car can be nerve-wracking for some people so will alleviate any worries you may have.

Keeping your personal details secure

When buying a new car, whether in a Honda retailer or online, you’ll be asked to provide some ID to confirm who you are. This is to protect you and your identity, and lets us check that it’s really you, and not somebody pretending to be you. We use a trusted, well-established company to do this, called TRUST ID, and it’s a standard process used by banks and other well-known organisations to help protect customers from fraud. You’ll be sent an email from us asking you to verify your ID by entering some personal details including your name, address, a picture of some official ID as well as photo, or selfie, of yourself.

If you’re struggling to complete this, you can speak to the Honda Sales Centre, and they can help talk you through the process. Alternatively, you can pop into your local Honda retailer with the documents, and they can do this for you. You’ll also need to digitally sign some paperwork, called e-signing. If you’re not au fait with how to do this, the Honda Sales Centre team will be pleased to help, just give them a ring.
