PARTICIPANTS

1.1  Participants must be resident in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Isle of Man and be aged 18 years or over.

1.2 By participating in this promotion, all participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.3 In order to participate, eligible entrants must purchase a Honda Cordless Product, as specified in clause 2.2, between 12 February 2018 and 30 April 2018 (inclusive) from any participating Honda Lawn and Garden Authorised Dealer within the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. Purchases made after 30 April 2018 will not be eligible. Trading hours vary and participants should check with their local dealer for details.

1.4 Employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, their dealers, agents and members of their immediate family or other parties directly involved with the creation and administration of this promotion are not eligible to participate.

2. THE OFFER

2.1 This promotion is for two complimentary products upon purchase of one cordless product at point of purchase. No alternative arrangement will be entered into.

2.2 The eligible models which qualify for a complimentary battery and battery charger are: 2.2.1 Lawn Trimmer (HHTE38BE); 2.2.2 Hedge Trimmer (HHHE61LE); and 2.2.3 Blower (HHBE81BE).

2.3 At point of purchase of the Cordless Product in-store or online, the participant will be provided with two complimentary products: either HBC210 WB Standard Charger or HBC550 WB Fast Charger and either 2.0Ah Battery or 4.0Ah Battery, products dependent on dealer stock. No cash alternative will be offered.

2.4 The participant will be entitled to receive one complimentary HBC210 WB Standard Charger/HBC550 WB Fast Charger and one 2.0Ah Battery/4.0Ah Battery with each Cordless Product they purchase in accordance with this promotion.

2.5 In the event that either HBC210 WB Standard Charger/HBC550 WB Fast Charger item or 2.0Ah Battery/4.0Ah Battery is not available, the Promoter will endeavour to supply a similar Cordless charger or battery of the same or greater value.

2.6 No liability is accepted by the Promoter for lost, stolen or damaged HBC210 WB Standard Chargers/HBC550 WB Fast Charger or 2.0Ah Battery/4.0Ah Batteries and no replacements or cash alternative will be provided

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

3.1 Purchases must be made in-store, from a participating Honda Lawn & Garden Authorised Dealer, during trading hours between 12 February 2018 and 30 April 2018 (both days inclusive). Purchases made after 30 April 2018 will not be eligible for the promotion. Trading hours vary by Dealer.

3.2 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for purchases not made by the closing date and any claim received for purchases made after 30 April 2018 will not be processed.

3.3 It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient and correct details are provided at the point of sale for claims to be processed. Fraudulent, illegible or incorrectly completed claims will be disqualified and not processed.

3.4 The Promoter reserves the right to reject the participation of any person whose association with the Promoter or its products may, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, damage or cause detriment to the brand, reputation, standing or goodwill of the promoter or any member of its group of companies or their products.

3.5 This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other Honda cordless product promotion whatsoever.

3.6 All products are subject to availability and while stocks last. If stocks run out before the closing date of offer, the offer will end early.

4. DISCLAIMERS

4.1 The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any participant as a result of or in connection with this promotion. However, nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for personal injury or death resulting from its negligence.

4.2   The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil this promotion where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited to, severe weather conditions, fire, flood, war, earthquake, riots, industrial dispute, terrorism, acts of God or supervening legislation.

4.3 Data captured during the course of this promotion will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

4.4 The Promoter reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate, suspend or void this promotion at any time and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time on notice and without incurring any liability.

5. JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW

5.1 These terms and conditions are governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
