Honda partners with RAPID Training to raise rider skills and safety on road and track
Honda UK Motorcycles has joined forces with RAPID Training in a new partnership that places rider development, confidence and safety at its core. Bringing together Honda’s long‑standing commitment to “Safety for Everyone” and RAPID’s decades of coaching expertise, the collaboration introduces a range of road and track‑based training opportunities for riders of all abilities.
RAPID Training has been at the forefront of rider coaching since 1997, with a highly respected team that includes Isle of Man TT and endurance racers, Police Class 1 qualified riders and experience gained through the British Superbike Championship via RAPID HONDA. This depth of real‑world expertise ensures riders benefit from structured, practical coaching that delivers results quickly and effectively.
Courses are available for both road and track riders, and importantly, they are open to all motorcyclists regardless of the bike they own. Whether the goal is to improve everyday road riding or refine advanced circuit skills, the tailored approach ensures every rider can progress safely and confidently.
Honda NT1100 motorcycles, finished in bespoke RAPID branding, will be used by coaches for road‑based tuition, providing a comfortable and capable platform for demonstrating key riding techniques. Track activity will be centred around Honda’s flagship CBR1000RR‑R Fireblade, allowing riders to explore performance riding in a controlled environment with expert guidance. Supporting the programme are key industry partners including Dunlop, RST, Arai, Motul, In&Motion Airbags, GB Racing, Clonera and Zero Fit.
A highlight of the partnership is the Honda Bespoke Coaching course, a one‑day, highly personalised experience designed around the individual rider. Customers who purchase a Honda motorcycle over 125cc can currently benefit from an exclusive £250 saving on the course, normally £545, making it an ideal next step after purchasing a new bike and a valuable investment in both confidence and capability.
The partnership was officially launched at Blyton Circuit in Lincolnshire, where Honda welcomed media and dealer partners to experience the programme first‑hand and learn more about its ambitions for 2026 and beyond.
