Drive Types

Push

This means you push your lawnmower across the lawn to engage the wheels and the roller.

Hydrostatic

This means the blades turn at a constant speed, regardless of how fast or slow your lawnmower is going. With this variable speed control, you get the perfect cut every time.

Self-propelled (driven)

This means the engine drives the wheels or roller, as well as the blades, so you don't have to push the lawnmower across the lawn.

Variable speed

This means you can control the ground speed with an adjustable SMART Drive™ lever. The control is exactly where you need it: at your fingertips - you simply push the lever to go as slow or as fast as you want.
