What do I need to bring on the day?
Three forms of identification: your driving licence (the paper part), photo ID (this can be the plastic photo card of your licence) and proof of address (such as a utility bill).
Do I need insurance?
No, you won't need to worry about that. As long as you have a valid driving licence, you'll be covered by the dealer's insurance.
How do I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Simple – just give the dealer a call or use the online booking form as soon as you know you want to reschedule or cancel.
Can I bring a friend and/or the kids?
Yes, of course. We look forward to meeting you all!
How long will the test drive last?
Typically, about 45 minutes. But it's very important you have the test drive experience that suits you best, so please let your dealer know in advance if you have any particular requirements.
Do I take the test drive on my own or with a Honda dealer?
Usually, a Honda representative will go with you on the drive, but it may be possible for you to drive alone - just discuss it with your dealer before you arrive.
Can I test drive more than one model?
Yes, of course – we'd be delighted to show you more than one vehicle from our range. Simply remember to let your dealer know before you arrive so they can ensure the models are available.
Can I test drive different model grades or specifications of the same model?
No problem, as long as the dealer has the grades or specifications you would like to try. Even if they don't, they may be able to borrow vehicles from another dealer in their group. Simply let them know your requirements in advance and they'll do their best to help.
Is the car I'm test driving the one I would buy?
If you want to buy a used car, you can indeed buy the car you test drive. If you'd like to buy a new car, we would of course give you a brand new car upon purchase.
What are the differences between model grades?

I need to make sure I test drive an automatic.
No problem. Just remember to contact the dealer to arrange this before you arrive, to make sure they have your model with an automatic option.
Am I committing to anything by test driving a car?
Absolutely not – we want your test drive to be an enjoyable, relaxed experience. You're under no obligation to purchase after a test drive...although we're sure you'll be very impressed with our cars!
Can I trade in an existing car even if it's not a Honda?
Yes, of course. If you'd like an independent valuation of your current car, simply visit our used car valuation tool for a complimentary part-exchange valuation, provided by CAP.
How do I find out more about the finance options currently available?
Simply ask to speak to the finance representative at the dealership, who will talk you through all the available options. We also have an online finance calculator tool at honda.co.uk/cars – just visit the model you're interested in and look for the "Offers" tab.
