Honda's Eco-Friendly Scooter with an Adventurous Spirit

Honda's Eco-Friendly Scooter with an Adventurous Spirit

In the motorcycle world, creating a brand-new breed of bike is rare. In 2017, the Honda X-ADV broke new ground.

To keep up the momentum, four years after its 2017 launch, a facelift, weight-drop, and performance upgrade were added to the X-ADV's success story. By 2023, the genre-shaking adventure scooter became Honda's second best-selling motorcycle in Europe.

With its sophisticated street manners and a zest for off-road adventures, the X-ADV carved a niche for itself, resulting in Honda selling more than 76,000 units. Fast-forward to the 25YM, and it's clear that Honda is laser-focused on keeping the X-ADV at the top of its game.

The X-ADV's redesigned bodywork produces sharper angles. Meanwhile, the new dual LED projector layout gives a distinct, premium headlight signature.  The new lights feature daytime running lights (DRL), and the integrated indicators are a world first on a motorcycle.

Easy to Read Rider Information

Rider information is courtesy of a new TFT full-colour 5" screen. Meanwhile, its redesigned menu and images ensure features such as Honda RoadSync connectivity are easy to read even on the brightest days.

Thanks to the introduction of a backlit four-way toggle switch on the left handlebar, on-screen navigation is easier and more intuitive. This switch also allows the all-new cruise control to be adjusted with activation on the right-side switchgear.

The cruise control feature provides less tiring highway rides and is complimented with dual-clutch transmission (DCT) upgrades. With technology borrowed from the latest Africa Twin, the DCT improvements provide easy starting, improved slow-speed response, seamless gear changes, and an engine that is impossible to stall.

For performance, Honda's rock solid 745cc, SOHC 8-valve parallel-twin engine is the same fuel-sipping, torque-laden power plant from the previous model. The bike's incredible fuel efficiency sees a full tank last for over 360km. Meanwhile, 69Nm of torque is available at the twist of the precise throttle by wire.

The adventure scooter's tubular-steel diamond frame, USD forks, and pro-link swingarm give a surefooted, responsive ride. This fusion of top-grade components allows the rider to take full advantage of the four riding modes, three levels of torque control, and two DCT programmes on challenging surfaces or conditions.

Groundbreaking Eco-Friendly Scooter

The new X-ADV features re-cycled materials in parts of the bodywork and screen, echoing Honda's long-term environmental commitment. Honda's eco-friendly X-ADV combines real-world usability and adventure-style fun.
