Flow rate

Don’t get caught out mid-flow. To get water from A to B, take a look at our pumps’ flow rate. It decides how much water you can shift.

What is it?

Emptying a pool, pushing floodwater uphill – however you’ll be using your Honda water pump, you should consider its flow rate. But what is it? Well, it’s the maximum amount of water that one of our water pumps can process each minute.

Plot your capacity

Flow rate is variable. The higher the pump lifts the water, the lower its rate of flow – each of our water pumps perform differently. If you know the maximum height you need to pump the water, plot the elevation on the graphs below to find each pump's flow rate.

'A' shows the flow rate in litres per minute (l/min) and 'B' shows height in metres (m).
