CR-V crowned Most Reliable SUV by Which?
Zero. That's how many breakdowns were reported by the Which? Car Survey 2014 for our Honda CR-V. So it's hardly surprising they've named it Most Reliable SUV. And with average annual repair costs of just £10 and an overall reliability score of 98.5% over the last year, the chances of a breakdown are, well, next to nothing.
CR-V named 4x4 of the year
The top spot. It's a long way up. But our CR-V managed it with ease, being named 4x4 of the year 2013 by Total 4x4 magazine. It went through rigorous tests around a specially designed circuit before leaving on a high. And now we're there, we don't have any intention of coming down.
The CR-V is the Most Popular 4x4 - again
It's always nice when you get an award. It's even nicer when it happens twice. Honestjohn users have awarded the new Honda CR-V the 'Most Popular 4x4' for the second year running. Once again, the expert motoring website's stats showed that the CR-V was the most searched for 4x4.
CR-V named Most Reliable SUV 2010
Higher or lower? When it comes to Warranty Direct's reliability index it's the lower the better. So when our CR-V achieved a score of just 23 - the lowest score of the lot - we were overjoyed. And so were Warranty Direct, naming it the Most Reliable SUV 2010. Or if you prefer, leader of the pack.

The new CR-V has better efficiency, economy, and performance. But it doesn't stop there.
The new CR-V isn’t just tough. It’s been beautifully re-sculpted with curved edges and fluid lines that channel airflow more efficiently. And with sleek chrome detailing, new alloys and a reshaped grille – it’s seriously easy on the eyes.
But it’s not all looks. Underneath its body, the new CR-V is also packed with useful technology. Take Honda CONNECT, which links with your smartphone to keep you in touch with everything you love. You’ll never miss a moment.
Stay between the lines
Not just in the loop; the new CR-V also keeps you on track. Take Lane Keeping Assist – it’ll sound an alert if you start to drift over road markings and can gently correct your steering to keep you safely in your lane.
From the motorway to city streets, the all-new 1.6 diesel engine makes for an agile drive and offers a finely-tuned balance of economy and performance. Enjoy the best of both, whatever the journey ahead.
Brightening the drive
Lighting the way are powerful halogen headlights with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights. They make for an iconic new look on the CR-V, and greatly improve visibility.
Navigate the streets
Garmin Navigation also helps you spot the right turn. It displays photo-realistic images of junctions and exits, and with real-time traffic information, you can avoid any looming congestion in front.
Got your back
Keeping an eye on what’s behind is Blind Spot Information. It detects vehicles in each blind spot to the rear, and helps make lane changes and overtaking as safe as possible.
When passing other drivers, the 9-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth acceleration. Its wide range means it always finds the right ratio of revs and speed – so the drive is not just efficient, but responsive too.
Feels like home
The smooth ride is accompanied by a soft material interior – it covers the door panels and dashboard as well. Add heated front seats with electronically-controlled memory positions, you’ll feel right at home.
Complete the comfort with the sounds of your favourite music. The CR-V’s AHA entertainment system has access to internet radio stations and DAB channels – so there’s something for everyone’s ears.
Sees what you can’t
Traffic Sign Recognition aids your eyes. A camera on the CR-V can identify traffic signs up to 100m ahead, and highlights them on the Intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MiD).
A choice of drive
From the rules of the road to off the beaten track where the 4WD CR-V automatically switches from front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive. But only when you need it – saving you fuel while tackling challenging driving conditions.
New for 2015
More advanced engineering. More advanced design. And more advanced technology. In 2015, the CR-V offers you more exciting ideas for even better road adventures.
The new CR-V’s powerful, contemporary shape is enhanced by its bold, dynamic grille and sleek integrated headlights.
Even more superior interior
As well as refining the CR-V’s exterior, we’ve made the interior better by more than a couple of notches. There’s now a reshaped chrome-effect inlay running the width of the dashboard, and high-quality materials have been added to surfaces. We’ve also added a sliding armrest between the front seats.
The 2015 CR-V makes it even easier to keep in touch with your world on the go, with the all-new Honda Connect in-car audio and information system. Honda Connect features AM/FM, DAB and Internet Radio, Bluetooth connectivity, internet browsing, satellite navigation and rear-view parking camera.
New i-DTEC engine
