With two different transmissions to choose from, the Honda Jazz is equally at home both in and out of town.
The Honda Jazz has plenty of energy. With its economically proven 1.3 litre, i-VTEC engine, it delivers great performance for nipping around town, or for a longer weekend drive beyond the city limits – we call it fun-injection.
A precise 6-speed manual gearbox will reward you with a spirited drive, but If you prefer an automatic option, our advanced 7-speed Continuously Variable Transmission brings with it seamless gear changing, higher economy and lower emissions.
Both transmissions deliver exceptional performance and economy; but with Idle Stop, the Jazz goes that little bit further. It cuts the engine when you’re waiting for the lights to change, then automatically restarts with a touch on the accelerator pedal.
If you’re looking for a sporty drive out on the open roads, the Jazz with a 6-speed gearbox really comes into its own. You can also experience a sportier drive if your Jazz has a 7-speed Continuously Variable Transmission, by switching to the track-inspired paddle shift feature on the steering wheel.
With so many safety features, it’s no surprise the Jazz was awarded NCAP Best in Class Supermini award.
The Honda Jazz was crowned the safest supermini by independent safety organisation Euro NCAP. Having already claimed the top NCAP 5-star rating, it took the prestigious Best in Class Supermini 2015 title for outstanding safety performance. Nothing’s changed there, and there’s more.
Our driver assist safety pack technology includes features like Lane Departure Warning and City-Brake Active System. They’ll look out for you on the road.
It alerts you when it detects the possibility of a collision ahead with both visual and audible signals.
This feature keeps you and your passengers safe by constantly monitoring the tyres for any reduction in pressure and giving you advanced notice of a problem.
This system assesses the driving conditions around you and switches automatically between high and low beam.
We take a dim view of driving in bad light, so we've added a sensor that will automatically activate the headlights on your Jazz when the light begins to fade.
The front wipers react at the first sight of rain, adjusting their speed to a heavy downpour, light drizzle and whatever comes between. All this means you can keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.
