Snetterton - 8/9 August 2015

Honda Yuasa Racing heads into the summer break of the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) buoyed by another set of strong results at the Croft meeting. 2012 BTCC champion Gordon Shedden currently leads the drivers' championship by 10 points, while team-mate and three time champion Matt Neal is only 22 points adrift in third place. The team also tops the manufacturers' championship.

The opening round of the second half of the 2015 calendar takes place at Norfolk's Snetterton Circuit, which has been hosting the BTCC for over 50 years. The circuit's '300' layout is the longest in the championship calendar, not to mention one of the quickest. However, although it's fast, there are several heavy-braking areas with 'stop-start' sections, which will really affect those cars laden with ballast. With Flash and Matt carrying 75kg and 57kg respectively into qualifying, they will have it all to do, but both are confident that the Civic Type R will continue the strong form it has shown throughout the first half of the season.
