The car is very comfortable to drive with good visibility the reversing aids are very good the boot space is excellent and the automatic tailgate very good a big improvement over the old model
The car has been spoiled by a very poor sat nav system. The menus are clumsey to navigate, all screen touch control to operate the system. A serious lack of control buttons, those provided are very small which makes them difficult to use when on the move.
You cannot easily return to earlier screens once you have left them. iPod navigation is awkward and not safe to use when on the move. A lack of a central control knob on the centre consul like most other high spec cars would have made system navigation both simple and safe. Hands free telephone and voice recognition is very poor it does not allways work and in my opinion can make using the system dangerous when driving.
With my old car which was a 2011 model, though the sat nav was antiquated ,it work well, traffic road conditions were always available through the info button ,not so with the new model and no need to be in navigation mode to use it. The voice activation was better, it always worked with no hassle.
The clock updated when travelling abroad and changes to daylight saving time were automatic not so on the new model though the manual tells it does do this.
I feel that this area of the cars design has been a failing and lets down what would be otherwise a very good car.

The CR-V is definetly top of its class,The performance and economy from my 1.6 diesel engine is just amazing,This just goes to show that honda are still working on improving all the time,Where as Ford/Vauxhall and many more are still based on two clocks and a steering wheel,This CR-V holds the road brilliantly,Minimum if any roll on corners,The bumps and potholes are just eaten up by the CR-V's amazing suspension and shock absorbsion,At entry level the CR-V comes with lots and lots as standard,Other cars even have to add basic's,Such as electric windows all round,A great stereo system,Electric lumbar support etc,Probably the best car i have had the pleasure to drive,And i have drove nearly all,Its not that pricey considering equipment as standard and this CR-V will go on forever,A true car from a company that is still improving on what i would say is a class leader.
Nothing.

Because I didn't want leather seats I couldn't get many of the top end options. I'm a vegan , this doesn't mean I don't want the latest technology

Comfortable and reliable.
Fuel consumption of the 1.6 DTEC engines is very disappointing compared to the earlier 2.2 Diesel engine.
New CD player is less flexible than its predecessor.

My 5th CRV. All 100% reliable. Until this one (seat memory does not work)No exaggerated sculpturing. Glass roof reaches well forward.
Too much black in interior. Last CRV 2014 nearly all Ivory (1 will not buy a car with dark interior- v disappointing). Central consol is too wide, I find I push my left knee into it.
