Our aim was to design a car with innovative styling and sporty looks that would be affordable and great fun to drive. But we didn't want to stop there. We decided the CR-Z would be a hybrid too - the first of its kind on the road.

The original CR-Z concept created a buzz when it made its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2007. Since then we've been refining the production version, with the new CR-Z set to go on sale in summer 2010.
