The Civic was chosen as the overall winner on the basis that if offered more than any other in terms of value, practicality and equipment. Maximum 5-star safety rating for new Civic
from the European New Car Assessment Programme
The new Honda Civic has been rated one of Europe's safest cars in the independent crash testing results from Euro NCAP. Receiving the maximum 5-star rating, the Civic also picked up a Euro NCAP Advanced reward for its Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) technology.

in 2011 JD Power Survey
Honda retained the number two spot in the overall league table for the 2011 JD Power Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Survey – the highest-placed volume manufacturer. “We strive to make every second of Honda ownership an enjoyable experience, and that means looking after our drivers throughout their use of our cars,” commented Dave Hodgetts, Managing Director, Honda (UK).

Honda most reliable UK car maker
in What Car? And Warranty Direct reliability study 2011
For an unprecedented sixth year in a row, Honda has topped this survey thanks to an impressively-low 9 per cent failure rate in the first 12 months. Honda also dominated the top of the SUV table, with the HR-V and CR-V at number one and two.

This survey recorded the average resale value for 12-month-old cars with 10,000 miles on the clock and the Jazz (08 on) topped the small car category and the CR-V (07 on) led the 4x4s.most excited about,” said the magazine.

CR-Z crowned Green Car of the Year
in Top Gear magazine
The CRZ’s blend of sporty looks, agile handling and good fuel efficiency allowed it to deal with the bustling back streets of the Third Ring district in China to win over the judges at Top Gear. “Of all the cars we brought to China, CR-Z is far and away the one I feel most at home with – and most excited about,” said the magazine.

in the Stuff Magazine Gadget Awards
Here’s what Fraser MacDonald, editor-in-chief at Stuff magazine had to say about their decision to award the CR-Z ‘Eco Gadget of the Year’: "The Honda CR-Z looks great, and it feels great to be in. It’s also relatively small and light, so – for an unethical minute or two – hit the ‘Power’ button and work the manual gearbox, and it’ll go like a little rocket.".
